Meet Michelle

My life is filled with supportive family, friends and a loving husband.

I grew up in a suburban town in Long Island, New York.

Growing up, I loved athletics and played on many sports teams. I enjoyed being part of a team, and I developed life-long friendships with former teammates.

Today I am a Health  and Adaptive Physical Education teacher at a middle school. I am involved in every aspect of school life: I coach swimming and gymnastics, I’m an advisor for the student government, and I organize a special track and field event for my intensive needs students.

As a mother, I will always put my child’s needs and interests first. I am passionate about creating a home environment where my child can grow and learn by exploring the community and the world around them.

I love my profession because it allows me to spend time participating in the activities I love most: hanging out with family and friends, traveling to new places, and hosting events at our home.

I enjoy going to the beach, bike riding and hiking. I especially enjoy sharing these activities with our nieces and nephews. Quite often these events end in a sleepover at our home. I love to travel and can’t wait to start a family road trip tradition. Every year we go on a trip to Lake George, NY with family, friends and their many children. I can’t wait to see the excitement of my own child’s first boat ride or first time making smores by the lake. Most recently, we hosted our first holiday on Easter Sunday. I look forward to little hands helping me in the kitchen…
