Our Story

We Are a Loving and Fun Couple from Long Island, New York Who Can’t Wait to be First Time Parents!

Several years ago, we both moved to a beach town on Long Island, NY.  We had many mutual friends, but we never had the opportunity to connect.

Fast forward five years to a dinner party at a friend's home, that’s when our courtship began. Ryan was the chef cooking the fish he caught earlier that day. To say Michelle was impressed was an understatement. Michelle spent most of the night in the kitchen with Ryan as he prepared a delicious dinner for all our friends. Ryan was so happy that Michelle wanted to help him prepare the delicious side dishes. Ryan felt drawn to Michelle’s warm, inviting smile from day one. Conversation was easy as we bonded over our love for the ocean, cooking and traveling. What really caught Michelle’s eye was when Ryan shared that he volunteers at a surf camp for children with intensive needs. As a teacher of students with intensive needs she felt an immediate attraction to his generous and kind heart.

On a cold winter day in February 2021 Ryan suggested they take a ride to upstate New York. Surrounded by beautiful mountains, gigantic snowflakes and a magnificent waterfall, Ryan got down on one knee and proposed. Overwhelmed with excitement, Michelle jumped into his arms and to this day we are unsure if she actually said the word “yes!”

On July 17, 2021, we were married by two lifelong friends in our family member's backyard. Our ceremony and wedding day perfectly reflected what we enjoy most- a celebration surrounded by the people we love with nonstop dancing and delicious food.

We recently bought a house in that same lovely beach town that we met in several years ago.

Five months later our house has become a home- a place where we enjoy hosting holidays with family, game nights with friends, and sleepover parties with our nieces and nephews. Our yard has a giant swing set just waiting for our future child to play on. We love our life, but we long to share it with a child and continue to create new memories and traditions as a family of three.
